Alongside my newly made website, I also have other forms of online presence for my Artistic Practice that have been around a little while longer.
I have had an artist page on Instagram since 2015 which is updated nearly every day with new pieces I'm working on, information, concepts, ideas and a place where I always promote any exhibitions I'm part of.
I also have an artist page on Facebook that is separate from my private profile that has over 100 likes that I post news, updates, photos of work and most importantly where I promote exhibition and other events related to my practice.
I have been in charge of making the posters and making Facebook events for all exhibitions since the beginning of 1st year and when I make the Facebook events I host it from my artist page as opposed to my personal profile so it reaches all of the people who have liked and followed my artist page instead of just my friends list, meaning it reaches more people and also means I gain traffic for my artist page when my fellow students share the event page. This is the event page for Victim of the Arts:
The Facebook event page for Victim of the Arts reached over 1000 people, and had 92 people click attending. I shared the Victim of the Arts event via my artist page, the same way I did with the last few exhibitions.
